Issues with Adding and Saving Text-to-Speech Audio
I have encountered an issue with Text-to-Speech functionality in Articulate, which has persisted for the past two days. Previously, I created several audios using this feature without any difficulties. However, I recently added new audios, and the following day, the Articulate file began displaying errors. Specifically, all the audios created the previous day were non-functional, and I found myself unable to modify them.
Interestingly, while the text used to generate these audios remained intact, editing the text slightly appeared to update and temporarily recover the corresponding audio. Unfortunately, upon exiting the project and reopening it, the audio would disappear again. This issue also arises when attempting to create new Text-to-Speech audio files.
I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.
Thank you
Hi Steven, it is a problem with Windows 11, that removes temporal files even if you are still working with a file. Our technical support team have already solved it. Thanks for you feedback and happy Xmas.
Hi JuditRdm!
Sorry to hear you're experiencing erratic behavior with Text-to-Speech in Storyline!
If you've confirmed that you are working locally, and a repair of your Storyline installation doesn't correct the behavior, seeing a copy of the .story file would be helpful. Feel free to upload it here in the discussion or privately through a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
