Storyline 360 Course not working in LMS
Hi -
I have been using Articulate Storyline 360 to create courses and to upload them to our Litmos LMS for about 6 years. We have rarely had any issues along the way (about 600 courses over all.)
This week I uploaded a new course which included 2 short video clips (from the Storyline library.) The course uploaded successfully, but in working through the course, it stalled out (permanently) when navigating from the slide preceding the slide with the (very brief - 5 second or so) video clip. For testing sake, I removed the video clip and it was perfectly fine.
We have used these video clips in multiple courses without issues in the past.
I contacted our support with Litmos and they suggested needed a "scorm wrapper" and they were able to run a test with that that worked fine.
I am curious if anyone else has had this experience? Or does anyone need scorm wrappers, what are the pros/cons, or unintended consequences?
I am completely unfamiliar with scorm wrappers and the knowledge article I was provided did not help much. Any insights will be very helpful.

Hello Peter,
Here is a good article describing "scorm wrappers."
I would imagine if you are publishing your course from Storyline that all the SCORM info, including the wrapper, would have been included, provided that you chose "LMS" as your export option, as opposed to web, video, etc.
It sounds to me like the video is causing the issue, especially since the module works fine without it. You may wish to upload the module with the video to SCORM Cloud and see if it can give you a readout of what issues/problems the module might have.
Also, is the video in an .mp4 container? If not, you might try re-encoding the video to a .mp4 container with a H.264 format, re-insert it, and then see if the module works. In case you don't know, you can encode video using tools like Adobe Media Encoder and Handbrake.
