Storyline 360 file will not open.
Hi everyone.
I have been working on a piece of work for weeks now, and I've saved it without issue each time I've added more content.
Today, I've attempted to open it, and I'm getting an error that states This project is invalid or corrupt and cannot be opened. It offered me to open or save a recovered version, but this version gave me the same "This project is invalid or corrupt and cannot be opened. It may have been created in an earlier version of Storyline" when I tried to open it. So I saved the recovered version instead. Same thing.
I followed the steps to recover a version of it; and there was a .tmp file in the %appdata%\Articulate\Storyline folder. I coped it to my desktop, renamed it to .story, and tried to open it. Same "this project is invalid . . ." message as before.
I tried repairing it with WinRAR. No luck.
I tried reloading to earlier versions of Articulate. Nothing.
I've been reading posts like mine on here all evening and it seems everyone uploads their file for you guys to look at and hopefully fix, so I'm uploading mine to hopefully save it.
Thank you ever so much in advance.

Hi SkyToland-90031!
So sorry to hear that you've run into this setback!
I'm encountering the same error as well, when testing your .story file on my end. Checking your temp folder for a backup copy was a smart first step. I'd like to connect you with our support engineers so they can have a closer look at this issue. You're in excellent hands with them and they should be following up with you via e-mail, shortly!
In the meantime, is there a chance you've published this Storyline project to Review 360, and used the Cloud Backup feature? If so, you may be able to retrieve a working copy from the Review 360 publication.

Hi Steven,
Unfortunately I did not upload a cloud backup file - I did check in Review 360 (since I did upload it there prior to the corruption) but no option to download it there unfortunately. Thank you for connecting me with the support engineers, I will look forward to their email!
Hi SkyToland-90031!
No worries! Thanks for following up and confirming.
