Storyline file conversion to .exe format

Hello there, I am hoping to get some assistance with my Storyline content. As part of my role, I have created some eLearning content and published that with .story file on my computer. Due to security reasons, I need to convert .the .story file to an .exe file. Any ideas on how I can do that?

There's no direct way to convert a .story (technically the published course as Web) to an executable. The process is very labor and technical in nature, so very expensive. The challenge is knowing both side of the challenge of Storyline and traditional programming. Very few of us exist. The ask is possible, but quite rare too.

  • Hello Danica-LeeZi787,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I want to confirm that this feature is no longer present in recent versions of Storyline 360, as Internet Explorer has been discontinued. The closest thing to an .exe output would be to publish the Web output of your course
