Storyline Images with Black Background when I publish

Can anyone point out what the issue is here?  When I edit the file the image looks fine, but when I publish it and view it the image is smaller and has a large black background around it.  See the two screenshots attached.  

I'm hoping it is a really easy fix.

    do you have the original image? You say it looks fine, but to me the pre-publish looks like the image is skewed. Not sure what's happening on publish, but it looks like Storyline is correcting the image skewing.

    Can you share just that slide and the original image? Then we can look at how the slide is set up.
