    Happy to share some insight on this.

    Currently, this is the expected behavior for PowerPoint content that has been imported into Storyline. In version 3.112.36406.0, we updated the import process so that PowerPoint no longer needs to be installed on a user's machine.

    Previously, Storyline relied on PowerPoint itself to generate the slide thumbnails during import. Because Storyline now handles imports independently of PowerPoint, those thumbnails are no longer available as part of the import experience.

    I understand that some Storyline authors may miss this functionality, and I've shared your feedback directly with our product team. We'll be sure to notify you if we release a future update that helps!
