Storyline Trigger : Submit multiple choice

I have a quiz module that is made by 5 different quizzes (organized as questions bank) specifically designed for various roles across the organization. To generate them I import the question...
If I understand right, the best solution is to resolve that as "upstream" as possible. When you say the questions are imported from a file, I assume that's from another Storyline project, and if so, the triggers and buttons should be fixed there before importing into the final quiz project.
Maybe this also gets at how your slides are created, but when I know I'm going to have to duplicate a slide, I try to really nail down everything in one pseudo-template so that when the slide is duplicated, such as from a master slide, all of those layer properties and triggers are already in place. Is there an opportunity to lean on a master slide?
