Storyline Video is not playing in LMS Success Factors
Hello fellow creators,
I have created a training in Storyline with a Video on the Base layer, and it stops with questions on additional layers.
Testing and Preview in Storyline everything looks great.
Then I take the SCORM file and load it into my LMS. Where the video should be it is coming up a black screen, in addition the audio linked to the video is not appearing.
Thinking maybe the video file is too large for my LMS. I tried the video compression in Storyline. Then create the SCORM file.
When loading the compressed video SCORM file I am receiving an error - "Imported Zip does not have valid content files"
Is there settings for the compression videos in Storyline to fix this issue?
Or is there some other settings between videos & the LMS that I am missing that could resolve the initial black screen / no audio issue?

Hi Laura,
I'm sorry you're having this issue with videos playing in your LMS! Have you tested your course in SCORM cloud? It's an online LMS environment that can be used to figure out whether the issue is with the LMS or the Story file. If you test your course on SCORM cloud and it works perfectly, then your issue is LMS based.
I hope this helps!

Hi John! I already asked a good amount of money to my team for this program. I can't ask for any more.
However I found out what it was. The video compression was making the videos not come over in the SCORM file.Once removing that Compression setting and setting it to NONE everything worked.

How were you able to turn off compression settings? Mine is greyed out and is set to automatic. I'm also using SF LMS and got the same issue as yours.

Just added a reply. Wasn't sure if you would get the message. So posting it here as well.
Hi Jerico!
When in Storyline. Click on your video & in the Option Window turn Off the video compression.

I found this issue out when looking at my Initial SCORM file. All the Video sizes were 0. (Screenshot attached)
Then when Saving the new SCORM turning off the compression. They all now have size.
