Storyline360 says that .jpeg is not a supported file format
I'm trying to insert an image from my desktop so that I can have a background base layer and it says .jpeg isn't support. What gives?

I haven't come across that before. Is it possible the file is corrupt? Will it open ok in other applications.
Maybe just try changing the file extension to ".jpg" instead.
