Strange Behavior with Quiz
We have uploaded Rise SCORM 1.2 packages to our LMS. (We use Totara 12, which is a very old version of Totara.) Tracking is set to use the quiz result.

Sounds like you're running into an LMS-specific issue, especially since you're using an older version of an LMS. One troubleshooting step you can try is to test how your course behaves in a different LMS like SCORM Cloud. If your course works in SCORM Cloud, working with Totara's support team would be the best way to investigate the issue.
If you can replicate the behavior in SCORM Cloud, please open a case with our support team here so we can check what's happening.
We are using a different LMS (not Totara ) and we are seeing this exact issue on a small scale.
So it's not a LMS-specific issue.
We put up a troubleshooting note for our users telling them to use their keyboard to hit tab to get the navigation to show up. Kind of a weird workaround but it works.
Thanks Sara. Were they then able to then retake the quiz or did it then progress to the final stage and show the result? Ours aren't able to retake currently. The quiz page is stuck. We have the menu at the side so they can get out of the quiz and go to other parts of the eLearning module but on returning to the quiz it is still stuck and not displaying properly. Works fine for some though.
