SVG
Hi, I have found that svg images works with Rise!
I will use them in:
a) Block library/IMAGE/Image & text ( svg icon etc)
and
b) Block library/Gallery/Carousel (text based svg images)
I wonder if you have any guidelines for how to save an svg in Illustrator for optimal use in Rise or other tips for how to use svgs in Rise, like recommended image sizes for a) and b) above
Thanks in advance!

A handy hint I can offer is to convert any text to outlines in the asset export settings for SVG in Adobe Illustrator. This will ensure you fonts display as intended. Without this setting, I've had issues where the end user doesn't have the correct font and it has been substituted for something else, completely ruining the design.
Another thing I've noticed is that SVGs are a bit problematic if you try to use them in a labelled graphic, as for some reason the markers you place in edit mode, don't stay in the correct positions when you preview/publsuh a Rise course.
Hey there, Johan! I'm glad that you're making progress with Rise. Check out these best practices for adding media in Rise.
Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi, thanks for your answer. However, my question was specific to SVG files, not images in general. Could you please give any guidance for how to manage SVGs in Rise for optimal functionality and portability. Thanks!
Hi Johan,
There aren't recommended image sizes as Rise will scale and crop an image to fit within the responsive design. I'd look at exporting your images at the desired size/resolution you'd want and the highest quality possible.
If you run into any issues with images, we'd love to take a look and help out!

Hi, thanks. I got it and will play around with the SVGs. Is is really great that Rise support SVGs and I was just wondering if there are any specific recommendations regarding how to use them in the platform.

I've just noticed that if I add an SVG to Rise and then click to enlarge the image it actually shrinks. Has anyone else noticed this?

yes, i have the same "problem"
Thanks for reaching out, David! I also saw you submitted a support case and this is something our team has identified as a bug. We're looking into it now - but in the meantime, you'd need to use another image type to not see this behavior.
Hi Remco,
Thanks for touching base. This is still an issue our team is investigating, but we'll let you know here as soon as we have an update to share.
Hello, everyone!
Do you have SVG images that won't zoom in Rise 360? If so, you'll need to edit your SVG image in a text editor, such as Notepad, and add width and height attributes to the opening <svg> tag. Then, save and close the file and reimport it into Rise 360.
