Syncing video playback with cue points on timeline

Hi all - I'm working on a course that has really long videos (8-14 min) and want to break the videos down using cue points that flag key moments in the video. I set up cue points that trigger layers to appear when learners get to a certain part of the video. However, I noticed that if the learners toggle back and forth in the video, the cue points don't sync up. (e.g.: my first cue point is at 2:00 and if you jump ahead to 2:00 in the video, they layer won't appear). 

Is there a way to ensure that the cue points line up with the video and not just the slide timeline?

    Hello Tanya!

    Great question! The cue points are configured to line up with the timeline rather than media on a slide. In that case, as a workaround, I would recommend splitting up the one video into multiple parts and adding them to their own slide. That will offer you more control over the media than what is provided with cue points.
