TAB as submit button in try mode of a screen cast interferes with accessibility tools

When a text entry is required and should be submitted with pressing the TAB key this interferes with the accessibility tools. Pressing TAB shows a yellow box which is not wanted.

I tried to avoid that but found no solution. The accessibility option cannot be switched off for the screen recording.

Any proposal here?

  • Hi ClaudiaBangert,

    Happy to help!

You can set up your submit trigger this way so the slide knows that the learner's Tab key press is part of the interaction and not a way to bring out the yellow accessibility box:

After entering the text, the learner will have to click on the slide to activate the submit trigger using the tab key. With this setup, the yellow accessibility box won't appear when the Tab key is pressed. You can modify the trigger depending on your needs, so feel free to experiment to find the ideal setup for your interaction!
