Table with formulas in cells?????

I'm a recent RISE user, and I've hit a roadblock. I'm building a course where I have a table that has formulas inside some table cells. Since it seems that RISE is lacking MATHML support or a proper equation editor, I thought the stopgap would be to insert an image of each equation into the table cells. However, I see no way to insert an image into a table cell. How can I do this?

I do not want to insert an image of the entire table, as that is a true accessibility nightmare. I want an accessible course with formulas inside tables. What can I do?
