Text Entry Articulate Rise
I understand this has been a hot topic but I have been unable to find anything that could help. I am just wanting to add a text entry into an articulate rise course where users can reflect on the course and what they learnt from it. No information needs to be saved and it isn't necessary for them to download their responses.
My current work around is uploading a articulate storyline course that is a text entry, however, the course may take a few moments to load. I would like the text entry to be on the screen straight away.
Hope that makes sense and any assistance or tips would be great.
Thanks.

FOREVER ago, we build this Storyline block that you can snag and modify. Sounds like you already have one as well but aren't a fan of the loading delay.
Storyline free response component in Rise - javascript | Articulate - CommunityThe only other thing I can think of is to point you towards the Mighty extension which adds a Reflection block. Sounds like exactly what you are looking for!

Thanks John, my way is pretty much the same way you guys have done it but its just the loading delay that I am not a fan of.
I will check Mighty extension out, thanks heaps. - Tim_Community Member
I also have been using the Storyline option (see https://360.articulate.com/review/content/bf97c5a3-b2d2-4cc1-9130-a998905da417/review, and the source files are on a linked comment), mainly because I can add a blocking Continue button to Rise that requires the interaction to complete before allowing the learner to move on. Using Mighty (John's extension) works ok and is fast to load, but only persists data in certain situations (also glitchy). I'd done something with iframes in the past (Adding a text box for user input in Rise360 | Articulate - Community, source code https://github.com/frumbert/public/blob/master/reflective_activity.html ) which had the same issue where it couldn't use the Continue button blocking.
Articulate don't seem to be listening/considering this feature.
