Thank you for sharing those screenshots in your post! I can see how the text entry field is displayed differently in the Slide View and published output. Have you tried deleting and adding another text entry field?
If that doesn't do the trick, it would be helpful to take a look at your project to determine the fix. You can share the .story file in this discussion by using the "add attachment" button or privately in a support case. Either way, we'll take a look and reply with our findings.
