Text to Speech Pronunciation of the word "Module"

I have a paragraph that uses the word "module" several times.  The voice does not always pronounce it the same way.  Why does he pronounce it differently?  The voice agent is named Matthew.

  • Hi Aletha!

I added sample text including the word "Module" three times in a Text-to-Speech interaction. Unfortunately, there wasn't a difference with the way Matthew pronounced "Module".

Would you mind sharing the text that you've included in the Text-to-Speech interaction? I'm happy to use the same text on my end and see if I notice the inconsistency!

      This is the text:

Let’s review the modules at the top left. Your security setup determines which modules you can see and which modules you will be able to use.

People working in probation typically use the probation module, and people working in the Clerk’s offices typically use the case management module.

The user who is currently signed in doesn’t have access to the probation module, so the probation module doesn’t appear in the list of available modules.

When you open a module, you will see the module toolbar underneath the global toolbar. To continue, click the Case Management module.

        Hi Aletha,

Thank you for sharing the body of text with us!

I inserted the text into a new file and did find that Matthew pronounces module differently a couple of times. The main instance where it stood out was during this sentence:

"The user who is currently signed in doesn't have access to the probation module..."

I will be sure to bring this up to the right team so we can continue to look into this further. As soon as we have an update to share, we'll be sure to reach back out!
