Textured background (dots, etc.) shows up in Preview or Published version with a grid overlaid on it... Not sure why?

Hello,

I've put a textured "dot" background into a slide.

It looks normal in Storyview:

But when I preview the slide, or publish it, it shows up with a grid overlay. 

Preview version:

Published version:

This only happens with "texture" patterned backgrounds like dots, stripes, etc. 

I'm not sure why it's happening and how to remove it. Has anyone else experienced this?

On "About Storyline" it says it's version Storyline 360 x 64 v3.89.32618.0.

    Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear you've run into this issue!

    I'm happy to help troubleshoot and have a couple of clarifying questions to start.

    • Since you originally posted, we've released Build 3.90.32893.0. Does the issue persist with the most up-to-date version of Storyline?
    • Does this happen on only one slide or all slides with this background?

    Can you share your file with us here in this thread or privately in a support case? We'd be happy to take a closer look to narrow down the issue.

    Bug observed in the past, but not on the latest updates, what is your version of storyline?
