Timeline length
Hi,
I'm using articulate storyline and i have a small problem of timeline length. It automatically after adding an audio sets to a big value such as 500sec and so for each slide i have to drag the line to adjust the display time. but this is taking me in total too much time. Is there a method to set the timeline for each slide manually?
I would really appreciate your answers and your help.
Best Tea.

I came across the same problem when embedding videos. The timeline was as long as several thousand seconds which took minutes to drag back to .25 seconds. Tea Tavanxhiu's solution seems to work when embedding new content. If you embed it while in the states tab it goes to a default of 5 seconds. But I already had 100's of videos embedded when I realized the problem. The solution to the dragging problem is to start dragging and then press the left back arrow on your keyboard. This will jump you to the beginning of the timeline. Then put your mousepoint on one second and release the mouse button. Viola! You just saved agonizing time scrolling all day. Hope this helps others!

Hi Tea
Sounds like there might be something weird going on. The timeline shouldn't behave the way you describe. Can you try running through these steps and see if it resolves the issue? If not, we'd be happy to take a closer look at this. Please submit a case using the link below so our support team can assist you further:

Thanks!

Yes i think it is a bug.
I managed to resolve my problem by referring to the media and not to the timeline while working with triggers...
Anyway thank you both!
Best Hi Anthony and welcome to Heroes!
Thanks for sharing that solution here and I'm certain it'll help other community members. Since you're jumping right in to assist in the community, have you thought about recording a screenr to share here as well?
Glad that this thread helped you and if you need anything else let us know!

Thanks so much, Anthony. Your drag + left arrow trick works perfectly. Once again, the Articulate community turns frustration into satisfaction.

Here's a Screenr that illustrates Anthony Saba's solution.

Cleaver solution.
BUT, may i suggest that Articulate develope a way to manualu set the lenght of the timeline.
For example it could be under slide properties. Hi Jacob,
Sounds like a good feature request - and in the meantime, the elements of the timeline you can interact with in Storyline 2 are detailed here.
