Tracking in Rise
Hello!
Is there a way to track in Rise if we don't have the LMS version? I heard I can Embed by using the Multimedia block. We want to collect some basic metrics on who is using the material and what modules.
Thank you for your help,
Jennifer

Hi JBB-Canada!
Thanks for reaching out!
Are you looking to track learner engagement and course completion in Rise 360 without the use of an LMS? Or are you hoping to embed a type of external tracking tool via the Multimedia Block? I'm happy to share insight on either scenario:
- Tracking Rise 360 course completion without an LMS: Rise 360 is designed to track learner progress when it's hosted in an LMS, or in Reach 360. If an LMS is unavailable, authors may choose to publish to the Web as an alternative for course distribution. However, with Web publishing Rise 360 does not have any built-in features to track who is accessing the course material, or how much has been completed. Web-only courses always start over at the beginning each time the learner opens them, and there's no built-in reporting or analytics for user activity in this format.
- Embedding external tracking tools via the Multimedia Block: Rise 360's Multimedia Block does support embedded content such as videos, forms, and other interactive elements. If you have an external tool (like a survey, Google Form) that tracks user input, you can embed it using the Multimedia Block. However, this will only track interactions within that embedded content, not the overall Rise 360 course progression, or completion.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
