Translation for Custom Blocks, Code Blocks, and Text-to-speech
The custom blocks are not being translated with the localization translation. What is the best way to manage the translation? I just tried to replace the custom block text in one of the translated versions but found that it changed the text in the English version as well. I don't want to have to download an XLIFF file for the entire course for one or two custom blocks, so I'm hoping there is a work around?
I'm experiencing the same issue; the "custom block" isn't translated when using localization. Furthermore, changing the text in any language changes it in all of them; you can't have a different "custom block" for each language.

Sorry to hear that you've run into this setback, working with Custom Blocks in Rise 360!
I noticed that you've connected with my colleague John Carlo, through a support case. I see that he's submitted your feedback as a feature request for our product team.
We'll be sure to notify you if we release a future enhancement that helps!

Hi SuzanOrrico!
Sorry to hear you're having trouble localizing Custom Blocks in Rise 360!
I see that you've opened a support case being handled by my teammate, Christian. As he shared:
"Thanks for getting back to us so quickly. You're spot on.
When you translate custom blocks outside of the stack, each language version becomes its own SCORM file. Right now, there's no way to bring those translated custom blocks back into the original stack to create one multilingual SCORM package. We know juggling multiple SCORM files adds extra work and doesn't give you the streamlined experience you need. You've shared that you'd like to bring translated custom blocks back into the stack so you can publish one course with multiple language options. We've passed this along to our product team so they understand what matters to you and how you're using Rise for multilingual learning.
In the meantime, check with your LMS Admin to see if they offer a way to group courses together. Unfortunately, Rise 360 doesn't support this yet. Your feedback helps us improve Rise and our localization workflows. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your use case.
Let me know if there's anything else I can help with!"
If you have any follow-up questions, feel free to reconnect with Christian through your case!
