Trouble when copy pasting slides from one story to another...

As you appear to have discovered, cut and paste does not work well for this. However, if you import slides from one presentation to another, SL seems able to do that without a hitch.
And personally, I find it a MUCH faster process than cut and paste.
Great add Walt. This is exactly what I was going to suggest, in the event it turned out cut and paste was indeed used.
