TTS now reading all my punctuation

Hi. I've used TTS for tables in virtual explores so students can read along the rows and columns.

Was there an update? I just entered the text and inserted periods and commas where I need pauses and this punctuation is now being read. How can I prevent this?

AND, when I have text in a regular paragraph, the TTS isn't reading the punctuation.

      Hi Ron,

Sorry to hear about your experience with the text-to-speech feature. I did a quick test on my end and I was unable to hear Storyline 360 pronounce the commas and periods in my sample text. The text that you are converting to audio might be formatted differently that the text that I used.

Would you be willing to share the text that you entered in the text-to-speech feature here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening?

Hi. I initially had all the text inserted in TTS like usual--with commas to lengthen the pauses between the numbers so it's not so quickly read. But with this table text, it was reading it all.

10 comma, 20 comma. It's never done that. So I split it up like this for a quick fix.

I sent in the case. Thanks!
