Unable to delete a lesson in Rise
I have a section with two lessons. One lesson is populated; the second one is not and the second one still has the placeholder, Add a Lesson Title here. When I hover over the lesson I never see a Delete option.

This is Angela Kolter from up the thread (logged in as a colleague). I'm back! New company, new course, same problem. I'm editing an existing module and the lesson WILL NOT delete using the mentioned tip. If I type in a fake title and hit 'Enter' as advised, it simply populates a NEW blank lesson below the one I'm trying to delete. Help! It's been 2.5 years and I'm BACK.

I am a new user and this is the second time in the space of two weeks I am posting about major gaps/flaws in the UI. Lessons automatically added as 'Add a lesson title' are annoying and make the course plan look messy. I don't understand the logic behind getting a user to type something in order to be able to delete stuff they did not want to add in the first place. What worries me the most, though, is that the threads I have seen so far are all years old, and still no solutions in sight.

HI Brian,
While the three dots are "greyed out", they are clickable.

Thanks, Karl. Clicking on the three dots does not produce a drop-down or expanded menu and they remain greyed out. (Screenshot not available) I am the only user on this account, so I wouldn't expect an issue with collaborators. What else might you recommend?

HI Brian,
Does the cursor change to the pointing hand when you hover over the three dots as shown in the second image below?

When I hover over the three dots:
- the cursor does not change to the pointer hand
- the three dots do not turn from grey to black
- the MORE box does not appear.

Ok -- your direction helped me noodle patiently.
- There's a tiny space of 3px x 3px where the full five-fingered cursor changes into the pointer.
- While hovering on this small space, delicately click the three dots to get the desired drop-down. It is then possible to delete the content.
Issue resolved. 🙌🏼

Thanks, Brian - yes the key is to hover around until the dots become black from grey! Then you can delete.
Attaching a short video.
Articulate team - It is very frustrating to keep hovering to find it though. It should be simpler and it shouldn't require us searching to find these responses!

Hi All,
I have created a lesson but now I am unable to rename or delete it, only processing showing on refresh it is there also I tried edit in HTML but not succeeded. Can anyone help?
Hi Anil!
Sorry to hear you've run into this setback!
Are you experiencing this issue across all supported browsers, or is it specific to one? Also, does clearing your browser's cache make any improvement? If still unsuccessful, seeing a screen recording of the behavior as you're experiencing it would be helpful. Feel free to share that here in the discussion or privately through a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
