Unable to resize height dimensions of quiz answer options box

Whenever I try to reduce the overall height of the answer options box for a quiz question slide, it automatically become super small with a scrolling panel and only displays one line of text. I...
I'm not able to apply the fix described above, but I've had this issue through several versions of Storyline and have never found a suitable solution. Anyone? This error drives me absolutely wild.
