Using Images as Answers in Rise
I used to be able to use images as answers in Rise. Now I'm looking at it and I'm no longer able to. Please Help

Right click on the answer / response you want to edit and choose 'Inspect' (wording might vary based on your browser).
In the web inspector window, it should have selected the paragraph text representing the answer. Right click this text and choose 'Edit html' or similar (again, different browsers have different wording here).
Then you can add an image "tag" with the source pointing to the image (online) that you want to use.
If you want to embed the image (not have it hot linked) you would have to first encode the image to "base64" and insert it as a data source. To do that, use a service like https://www.base64-encode.com/image-to-base64 to encode your image to a bit horrible-looking string and paste that in as the "src" of the image tag.
That's about it. You can use this trick anywhere you can normally format text.

Hi Tim,
Do you know if it is possible to add an image to a matching quiz?

You can still use images.
If you create a new question, look where it says "Enter a question title here...".
Just to the right of that text there is a Camera icon. Click on that and choose an image.

I am able to use images for the questions. I need a way to use images for the multiple choice answers. Thank You
Hi there, Michael. Currently, you can't add images to your answer choices for Rise 360 quizzes. There was a bug where you could copy and paste images into text fields, but that was not intended behavior. We'll let you know if we make changes to the question functions.
In the meantime, some folks have used the image as the question, and then, the text becomes the answer choices. In your example, the question would show the graph, and the learner would select the right equation.

Wow!! That bug helped me a lot. I never thought I'll ever say this :)
Thank You Crystal for the response. Hope that feature comes soon.

...+1 for adding images to answers!
This helps to make answers more attractive and to understand answers better. - GregBrown-b3baeCommunity Member
Also adding my vote to allowing us to use images as answers. Please add this functionality back, either as a "bug" or a feature, makes no difference to me. :-)

Creating a new math course and trying to use images as answer choices...I vote yes to being able to use them as opposed to rewriting the answers to fit a picture question.

Any word on if this feature is coming? It would be a great workaround for a lot of issues we've had using Rise for math assessments, software training, etc.

I'm going to guess no since the original question was answered almost 2 years ago. I made due with it for making this course, but will definitely NOT be using Rise for my Geometry course I'm redoing. Thank goodness for Softchalk!

+1 for using images as answers. Much easier for a learner to choose correct answers directly than to look back and forth at images and answer options and try to match them up. It's the difference between - check all images that show correct use of our logo vs observe the images and then choose which are correct: a and b? a and c? a, c, and d? Etc. It's an extra mental load they don't need. They could make a mistake just in trying to match up images to answers, even if they know the correct answer. (I realize these can also just each be broken out into a separate questions - each one correct or incorrect - but that also makes the content seem more overwhelming and lengthy than it really is.)
