Vetting Vibe Coding for the Code Block
I was in David's session this morning and would love others' thoughts on my question: How do you verify the code generated by AI if you don’t have deep experience with programming? I have basic HTML knowledge and jumped into vibe coding last spring, finding it incredibly helpful to grow my skills. I have an experienced colleague (20+ years in ID) who is hesitant to use code she doesn’t understand based on security concerns. She comes from a background where no code was allowed in Storyline. I want to honor her concerns and create a process for vetting custom code. We don't want to be like the lawyers who included hallucinations in their work.

We are experiencing similar security concerns regarding code generated by AI and then used within custom Code Blocks. Could someone from Articulate clarify how Rise handles potentially malicious code? For example, is the code sanitised or filtered before being rendered? Thanks

Great question, I don't have a quick answer but you'll want to keep in mind the Custom Code block is a blank slate- you need to include your own responsive layout code and test for your accessibility requirements. It's very easy to introduce new code that isn't responsive nor accessible.
