Ways that Virtual Reality is used in Storyline?
Hi. Looking for links to examples that show how Virtual Reality is used in Storyline.
Does Articulate have any plans to incorporate support for VR in upcoming releases? Captivate and Lectora offer VR support.

VR is gaining tons of traction right now, and the Adobe Captivate 2019 VR product exists and can do a lot of similar things that Articulate can. It's hand and hand with all eLearning conversations. It's shocking that Articulate isn't going to even pursue VR! That's a major loss.

Has there been an update on this? It's been 11 months since this post, has Articulate updated their plans for VR capability? Your main competitor has seen alot of success with it and organizations are switching.
Hi all!
I appreciate everyone stepping in to add their name to this feature request! Our team is still looking into and testing this feature so I don't have a timeline to share. When I hear of an update, I'll report back to this discussion!

I'm due to start creating VR elements soon and want to be able to create everything within Storyline. Although I can embed CenarioVR content into Storyline this would mean either the users to login (not desirable) or I have to make the VR content publicly available, not possible. Do you have any updates, its been 5 months?
Good morning, Hugh!
Thank you for checking in. We are working on a 360° media feature that will allow you to create immersive learning experiences with 360° images and videos as we speak.
Explore all the features we have planned for Articulate 360:
We keep that list up-to-date and will also notify you here as soon as there's more to share. 😊

Dates on the roadmap would be great. I have a project with VR as a key driver... hard to plan without product release dates.

Looking forward to the feature.
I hope we can import 3D models and interact with them similar to how we can do it Tilt brush.

I'm sure I read that 360° Images was on the roadmap for delivery Q4 2020. I've just updated to the November 17th update and its not there, so is it due in December 2020? Agree with Lance we could do with some confirmed release dates.

I hope this VR will be by the end of the year. As trainers we need to keep our learners engaged as much as possible and the students need to be able to retain the learning. Please think about the present and keeping virtual training in mind.

The December 2020 Storyline update is now available and no VR/360 functionality, its all accessibility related. Perhaps Katie's statement meant for next year "We're confident this feature will be in your hands by the end of the year."

Hi -- your response triggered something for me. I'm new to the technology, but it seems as if VR and AR would be incompatible with current accessibility guidelines. I would hope that if the industry moves to support VR more extensively that accessible content could come along for the ride. Thx.

Hi Hugh,
Thanks for the follow-up. We haven't released our 360 images feature quite yet. Our apologies for missing the mark on this goal!
To share some insight on where we're at, we've been actively involved with beta testers over the past month taking their feedback to put the final touches on a feature we think you'll love!
We'll be sure to jump in here and let you know when it's finally ready.
