Ways that Virtual Reality is used in Storyline?
Hi. Looking for links to examples that show how Virtual Reality is used in Storyline.
Does Articulate have any plans to incorporate support for VR in upcoming releases? Captivate and Lectora offer VR support.

This should definitely be on your roadmap now. We love storyline and we are thinking about your competitors and will be going into a new direction with our roadmap! I’ve been a person who loves your product and the change will be difficult. But companies have to make a change to help with virtual needs of the instructor! 😊

Agreed! Hopefully these considerations are part of what the Articulate folks are looking into as they prepare to release this feature.

Another 3 months gone by and still no 360 capability. Is it me or does development of all Articulate 360 products seem to be very slow, apart from accessibility and bug fixes not a lot has changed in years. Has your development team reduced in size?

Hello Articulate Staff,
I'm also checking in to see if there's any progress with the VR development. Thanks!

Hi, everyone!
I have exciting news to share!
We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 54, we’ve included important fixes and new features.
One of the features we’ve included is:
Create immersive learning experiences with 360° images. Add interactive elements, such as hotspots and markers to engage learners as they explore.
360° images are currently in public beta for Storyline 360, which means you can use them for production as we continue to enhance them.
To take advantage of this feature, launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let us know if you have any questions by posting here or directly reaching out to our Support Engineers. - HVfb0f498d-053bCommunity Member

A few improvements:
- Allow the insertion of text objects into 360 scenes
- Allow markers to have legend text e.g. video icon marker with 'Video' text underneath/above (can toggle the name of the item on/off)
- Ability to change from circular to square markers
- Add a tick box option to turn labels on by default when enter slide i.e. on/off state
- Ability to change colour of label background and text (the theme option only has white or dark options)
Hi Hugh,
Thanks for all the really great feedback and suggestions! I just had a couple comments:
- Allow markers to have legend text - I believe that will be addressed with the upcoming Tooltips that's listed on the Articulate 360 Roadmap
- Add a tick box option to turn labels on by default - If you choose the Guided tour navigation option, then the labels will automatically display when you view each one (with the exception of the first marker/hotspot).

I'd love to see a more robust VR capability within Storyline as well. Lectora utilizing Cenario VR is a game changer and I'd love to see something equally as useful within Articulate ecosystem.
