XLIFF syntax displays on slide when importing translated XLIFF
When attempting to import a translated XLIFF file, I receive an error message asking if I'd like to report the error, yet ~90% of the course is translated accurately. After retrying to import the XLIFF, no error message appears, and the remainder of the course is then translated. However, a portion of the slides show no text or images in slide/edit view. When previewed or published, the slide shows XLIFF mapping syntax (see screenshot). Any suggestions as to how this is happening and how to prevent it?
Hi Dylan, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes. 😊
Thank you for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing when importing your translated file.
I'd like you to share your original .story project file as well as the XLIFF file with our support engineers to investigate what's happening with your permission. You can share it privately by uploading it here. It will be deleted when troubleshooting is complete.
