Hello Heroes! Has anyone cracked this yet?
I’m exploring AI‑powered, real‑time role‑play platforms that can be embedded directly into an Articulate Rise Multimedia Embed block and run within the Rise frame—without sending learners outside the course or requiring a separate login.
I’ve tested a few options, including Yoodli, but that experience redirects learners out of Rise. Other platforms I’ve reviewed are either cost‑prohibitive or not transparent with pricing.
Has anyone successfully integrated a truly seamless, experiential role‑play experience into Rise? I’d love to hear what you’ve tried, what’s come close, or where you hit barriers.

ELTE What a cool question! I haven't personally experimented with this yet, I wonder if there's something that could be finagled with the code block option...
This thread from a bit ago is more focused on Storyline, but there could be some leads in the discussion! TrenWalker MichaelZ or MissBumblebee might be able to add their two cents here too.

ELTE Try this... I built a small AI-powered app that embeds directly into Rise using the Multimedia Embed block as an iframe -- no redirect, no separate login, runs completely inside the course frame.
The learner reviews a scenario, writes their response, and gets AI-scored feedback without ever leaving Rise. Built it in a few hours using Cursor and Claude.

Hey everyone, I promised a follow-up so here it is.
After seeing this thread take off, I went ahead and documented the full build process for embedding a live coaching simulation directly inside Articulate Rise. No redirects, no logins, just a working activity that lives inside your course like any other block.
The short version: a small web app hosted on Vercel, a background function that keeps your API key hidden, and a Rise Embed block to tie it all together. Writing the scoring prompt and structuring the feedback was the hard part. The rest? I described what I wanted and the tools built it.
I wrote the build notes beginner-friendly on purpose. If you have never touched a terminal, you can still follow along.
I am happy to answer questions in the thread (or feel free to reach out on LinkedIn). This is genuinely buildable without a development background.
