Issues with the time line.
Has anyone had the issue where when you publish/preview the slides get jumbled? how do we keep them in order?

This has happened to me on a few occasions. I just reorder them in the player menu properties if that happens. Not sure if there are any steps to prevent it from happening in the first place.

1234562: The issue that MelbaCarmona refers to is that the built-in Menu doesn't always keep up when slides are inserted and rearranged. However, you can easily get it to show the current order of the slides using the “Reset from story” button in the Player.
The User Guide has more info about customizing the Menu.
However, the discussion title says "Issues with the time line." So I'm not sure if you're encountering the Menu issue or something else.
If it's something else, I suggest you describe more fully what you expect to see vs. what you are seeing. It would also help to insert images that show the problem.
- It's best to do that using the Camera icon. That allows you to upload an image that will be displayed with the text (like the image above), so folks don't have to download an attached file and open it on their own.
And sometimes troubleshooting is just guessing without seeing all the programming. Someone might be able to solve the issue if you upload the .story file. Here are the best practices for doing that:
- Only include slides that are related to the problem.
- Be sure objects, layers, motion paths, and variables have meaningful names.
- If there is proprietary content, replace or delete it. For example, replace proprietary text with “ipsum lorem” text.
