Quiz Score Not Registering
Hello!
I have a final assessment set up at the end of a course. Somehow the score on the results slide is always 0%. I have all of the questions mapped to the correct results slide.
Additionally, when the 'retry' button is clicked, all of the questions are both blank and locked - I can't select any options.
I've tested this in our LMS and SCORM cloud, so it seems to be something I'm doing in Storyline itself. I just can't figure out what.
Additional details:
- There is a pre-test and a final assessment. Pre-test is working as expected
- The goal is to have the retry button jump to the first question slide in the scene, reset results, and reset all slides to initial state
- Slide properties for each slide are set to 'reset to initial state' however I've switched them all to 'resume to saved state' to see if that had any affect and it did not

That's correct - I had incorrect wording. The issue seems to be that the variables on the results slides don't allow for two different variables - for example, below the variables are for the Final Assessment results slide despite the results slide being a designated pre-test and having the pre-test questions selected.
If I change the variable back to 'pre-test' it also changes the Final Assessment results slide variables to 'pre-test'.

You don't need triggers to calculate scores. Scoring is built into the Results slide, with the default triggers used to show the appropriate layer and submit the results to the LMS.
The default text fields display the associated variables.
- Note: When a course has >1 Results slide, be sure each one has a unique name, and that its triggers refer to the appropriate variables.
The Quiz Settings are used to indicate which questions are included in the score, the name of the quiz/results, the passing score, and whether the results are for a Pre-Check, a Final Assessment, or just a Knowledge Check.
Thank you, Judy! It looks like it has something to do with the 'calculate pass percentage for___' trigger on the results slide. It's putting either calculate results for pre-test OR calculate results for final. It's not allowing the specific calculation for each of the results slide.

I recommend using "Automatically decide" for revisiting graded-question slides. Storyline knows to reset the slide when the user is answering the question or resume it when reviewing, without the need for extra triggers (other than the default "retry" and "review" triggers).
Also, check that all of the questions have a correct answer indicated and have the proper points assigned to them.
