Using Rise360 for Virtual In-Person Courses
Hi there, MeganErickson! I actually use Rise as a presentation tool for all of the live speaking events and sessions I host, and it has quickly become my presentation tool of choice! I like it because I can also use it as a leave-behind resource to send to my session attendees after the presentation.
When using a Rise course for a presentation, I generally include less text than I would for a traditional Rise course. That's because I'm using the course simply as a visual aid to support what I'm speaking about in the session.
I also create one lesson per topic I'm covering in my live session. For example, if I were presenting on "3 Pro Tips for E-Learning Designers," my Rise course outline would look like this (notice how I used section headers to organize the content of my presentation into sub-sections:
