Hi, Tracey! Hi, Noel!

I'm sorry for the trouble. We had an issue with Review 360 earlier, where a fix is in place now. I'm able to publish projects successfully, but let me know if you both are still stuck!

🔖Fun Fact: We have an Articulate 360 systems status page — if you click the S button in the upper-right corner on the page, you'll get email notifications of any future changes!

Hi Teresa and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)

Thanks for contacting us and sharing that you are experiencing an issue publishing your project.

  • Are you seeing a specific error?
  • Is the issue happening in any course you are working on or just this particular one?

You can also work directly with our support team here if needed.

Hi Chris!

I'm happy to step in and help!

Here are 3 troubleshooting questions to get us started:

  • Are you only seeing an error when publishing to Review or publishing in general?
  • Are you able to Preview the project without any error messages?
  • Would you mind trying to import a project into a new project, and then publishing to Review 360?

If you can share the affected file that always helps get a better idea of what you're seeing on your end. You can either share it by using the Add Attachment button in this discussion or you can share it privately using this link. Either way, we'll be ready to troubleshoot and share our findings!

The Review 360 site seems to go down from time to time. My experience, it's every few months on average. It's never lasted more than a 24-hour window for me, and even then I've been able to upload intermittently during that time. Like maybe one of our 3 or 4 attempts go through. Then a few hours later, everything is working as expected again.

Katie posted a link a few posts up where you can check current status of the site to see if maybe it's Review 360, rather than chasing efforts on your end if that's the case.

Hello! I have been encountering this same issue for the last 3 days and have tried all of the troubleshooting tips above. I'm at a loss! Help!

  • Are you only seeing an error when publishing to Review or publishing in general? Only to publishing in Review. No issue publishing as LMS course.
  • Are you able to Preview the project without any error messages? Yes
  • Would you mind trying to import a project into a new project, and then publishing to Review 360? I did and received the same message on the new projects. (I tried 3 times)

Hello Lauren,

Thank you for those key details. I'd love to extend a hand!

First, we have these reasons and fixes for when that error strikes:

If you're still stuck, our Support team can help understand the cause of the error better. They can assist in real-time while you publish a course to Review 360. Because you're on a Teams subscription, you have access to priority support and live chat here:

Hi there,

We have a project that is making changes to a series of courses (6 in all) that were developed in 2017.  I am getting this error on 4 of them while 2 of them published fine.

I have gone through the article posted above and none of those solutions appear to be the case.  I have a very fast connection and no firewall or network issues.

I fear there might be corruption in the file but it opens fine in Storyline.

I have tried to save as but no luck.

I am attaching one of the files in hopes that something can be saved.

Hi Rob!

I was able to publish all of the scenes individually to Review 360 except for Scene 6. The error message was only present when publishing Scene 6 to Review 360. It looks like the mouse cursor animation on Slide 6.3 and Slide 6.4 has stopped the publish. Once I hid both objects, the course published as expected to Review 360. I'd consider deleting the mouse cursor animations and adding them back. I'll attach the updated project to this reply.

So, It worked on my other course when I hid the Mouse animations (Just on the scene that was corrupted) then I went back in and altered the mouse movements by selecting straight path and was able to make it work with existing animations. However, in the one you sent back, I am not able to make them work and I am unable to delete them or rebuild them.

they were brought in using the SL Screen capture tool but don't appear to be editable.

am I missing something?

Lauren Connelly

Hello Rob!

The mouse animations don't rely on Flash, so that shouldn't cause that error message. It's hard to tell why the mouse animation would've caused this error message when publishing to Review 360.

However, I went back into your project, and in the Mouse Tools, I selected the mouse again. Then I published the course to Review 360, and it worked. You'll want to select the mouse in the Mouse Tools.

Please keep me updated!
