Default Body Font Size & Color

May 24, 2022

Hi There,

1) Is there a way to reset the default paragraph font size? The 17 pt is so small compared to headings and subheadings. It looks unreadable on phones in particular.

-If it can be reset, does it affect any of the responsive displays for other devices?

-If I manually reset the font size for each paragraph, will it cause issues with responsive displays for other devices?

2) Is there a way to set the default paragraph color to black? The dark gray is a little too low contrast for some learners using older displays. I've been manually resetting paragraphs to black.

Thanks!

Adjusting the default font-size setting would be a great feature, and I've seen others mention it. You can submit a formal feature request here: https://articulate.com/support/contact/feature-request

In the meantime, I suggest you set up the typical blocks you'll be using with the font size adjusted as desired, and save those as block templates. Or just create a block template every time you adjust the font size for a different type of block. That'll make it a little simpler as you develop, since you'll be able to insert the block templates that already have the desired settings.

There's info about block templates here:
