Easily Show Definitions

Hi, is there an easy way in Rise to be able to click on a word to show its definition and then come back to the content.

To me it almost seems like an embedded flip card would work well as a link rather than to URL. Or perhaps use a button to go to a different lesson, but there is no option just to "go back" as the starting location could come from different sections.

Any ideas on work around's would be great also.
