We use a product called 'genially' to create interactive diagrams. When I copy and paste the embed code into Rise I get a message saying the code is invalid. Has anyone used genially??
You may need a few tweaks to your embed code, Siobhan.
Use the formula <iframe src="URL"></iframe>. Just replace URL with the link for the content you want to embed.
Success depends on whether or not the site you linked to allows their content to be embedded in frames. Let me know if that simplified code above works for you!
That worked perfectly thank you! There was a lot of extra code in the embed generated by genially which was probably causing the problem. I know very little about HTML code so would never have worked it out!!
it also worked for me, thank you very much, on the other hand I would love to know if there is a way I can make the container block bigger as the interactive buttons are really small for cellphones. Do you know how can I solve it?
Hi Ariana! So sorry there isn't a way to make the container block bigger. I usually play around with the image and crop or resize it in such a way it is most visible for mobile users.
I can see how making the container block bigger will help. I'll add this as a feature request, and if we make any changes, we'll update this thread.
karl, is the step by step of the process. i appreciated your time, but i didn´t understand how i can put this script code from genially in rise 360. Thanks
Thank you for the formula. I managed to insert the interactive diagram into Rise. However, my question is: how can I ensure that this link will always work? Even if I no longer have a Genially subscription after 5 years. Is this secure? Is there a way to upload the downloaded file to the Rise platform?

If you post your embed code here somebody may be able to help you. Also recommend reposting this question in the Rise forums.

Glad that helped, Siobhan. It's all a learning process, even for us!
Hi,
I am also interested in the possibility to insert Genially interactions into a Storyline or Rise projects and publish reviews.
In SL, I could insert a web object and just past the URL starting with "view.genial.ly" (not "app.genial.ly"). It worked just fine.
But in Rise, it didn't work to past the URL between <iframe> tags in a multimedia "embed" block like this :
<iframe src :"https://view.genial.ly/61eece33cdc839001245f8bf"></iframe>
I was wondering which URL did Siobhan past exactly.
Could you help me ? Here is the embed code, if necessary :
<div class="container-wrapper-genially" style="position: relative; min-height: 400px; max-width: 100%;"><video class="loader-genially" autoplay="autoplay" loop="loop" playsinline="playsInline" muted="muted" style="position: absolute;top: 45%;left: 50%;transform: translate(-50%, -50%);width: 80px;height: 80px;margin-bottom: 10%"><source src="https://static.genial.ly/resources/panel-loader-low.mp4" type="video/mp4" />Your browser does not support the video tag.</video><div id="61eece33cdc839001245f8bf" class="genially-embed" style="margin: 0px auto; position: relative; height: auto; width: 100%;"></div></div><script>(function (d) { var js, id = "genially-embed-js", ref = d.getElementsByTagName("script")[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) { return; } js = d.createElement("script"); js.id = id; js.async = true; js.src = "https://view.genial.ly/static/embed/embed.js"; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(js, ref); }(document));</script>
Hi Sebastien!
There's a lot in the embed code so Rise doesn't display it correctly.
I tested
<iframe src="https://view.genial.ly/61eece33cdc839001245f8bf"></iframe>
and it worked for me. Here's the screenshot:Hello Hazel,

Kind regards,

Hi Gloria,
Do not use the Code Snippet block.
Create a Multimedia / Embed block.
Then Edit the block and replace the link that's already there with your link.
Karl1 thanks for your generousity, but i attacht my question step by step
Hi Gloria,
Sorry, but I'm not going to open a Word document from a public web site.
karl, is the step by step of the process. i appreciated your time, but i didn´t understand how i can put this script code from genially in rise 360. Thanks
Hi Gloria,
I understand that you need to insert a Genially link in Rise 360. The steps found in this link will help you!
Hello!

Thank you for your time!
Hi Brigita!
Your Genially interaction in the Embed Block will work as long as your Genially code/link works.
As for uploading a downloaded file in Rise, you may use the Attachment block to upload files such as PDFs or ZIP files in your Rise 360 course.
Let us know if you have questions or clarifications!
