I have an embedded video (streams from Vimeo). Without a CONTINUE block after the video, the lesson shows as completed upon entry. With the block, it shows at 50% completion. But the learner can still click the CONTINUE button without ever watching the video. How can I force completion of the video before getting completion credit for the lesson?
If the video is uploaded into the course itself, there is an option on the Settings tab to Allow forward seeking. If this box is unchecked and used with a Continue button, the student must watch the video for the Continue block to unlock using the Complete block directly above option.
I have disabled forward navigation in videos and the comment about the continue button being locked until the user watches the entire video is not true for me. Also, if the continue button is not added to the lesson, the user still can scroll down and click the down arrow moving them to the next lesson. We have a quiz / acknowledgement at the end, but it does not prevent the learner from skipping lessons.
Hi, Alyssa. It seems that this settings panel is not visible for me. I am trying to disable this setting and force the user to watch the video before moving on, but the panel is only showing me the import content panel. help?
Is there a way to do something similar in Storyline? I also have the next button hidden for my video as its the last slide in this section. Users have to click on the next section in my LMS platform.

Hi Nancy,
The CONTINUE button only works if the video is uploaded into the course itself.
For videos on VImeo, Rise has no way of determining if the video was watched or not.
Create an interaction between the video and continue block.
A couple of options:
Related - can the continue button detect if a learner scans or scrubs a video to the end without actually watching all of it?

Hello, Chris! Karl is spot-on! Here's a screenshot of where you can find that feature. Let us know if that answers your question!
Thanks Both - perfect.
This helped, thank you!

Here's a tutorial that shows
If the locking doesn't work as shown in the video, feel free to contact our support team and they can look into it for you

Hi Miguel,
Click on the Design icon on the right side of the block.
You will see the option you are looking for here:
Thank you very much, Karl!
The original poster wanted to know how to have the 'Continue (complete block above) functionality work for VIMEO embeds.
I posted a solution on another thread - https://community.articulate.com/discussions/rise-360/complete-block-above-after-watching-a-portion-of-a-vimeo-video
