I tried importing a GIF (it's actually a lottie downloaded as a GIF) into Rise and the background color code on the GIF shows #FFFFFF (white), but there seems to be something that happens upon/during import where the background color gets changed (see attachment).
Also, I tried to make the GIF background color transparent, but it messes up the animation when I do that.
Hi Brian, are you seeing this issue on other GIFs that you use in your courses? Also, do you get the same results when you test your Rise course in other browsers? It would help if you can share a copy of your GIF here so we can do some testing on the file. Thanks!

Not always. For example, the ones that haven't worked were downloaded from Vyond as GIFs and Lottie animations (GIFs) from https://iconscout.com/ The ones that have worked thus far were downloaded from https://lordicon.com/
Also, do you get the same results when you test your Rise course in other browsers?
So far, yes. I've tried it in Chrome and Edge.
It would help if you can share a copy of your GIF here so we can do some testing on the file.
Please see attachments for the GIF files that do not currently have the white background when importing into Rise.
Hi Brian, thanks for sharing those details and samples of your GIFs that aren't working. I was able to replicate the issue you reported using the files you shared and I submitted a support case for you. One of our customer support engineers will reach out and work with you directly on this issue!
