How to activate continue button after End Scenario
Hello,
How do you activate a continue button at the end of the scenario? I want the learners to complete the scenario before moving on but when you finish the scenario the continue button is not activated.

Hi Nicole,
If you edit your Continue Button and set the Completion Type to "Complete Block Directly Above", the button should become active once your Scenario is complete:

Hi Nicole,
Thank you for the screenshot. That is correct; it could be with your Scenario End's Go to setting. Hover your mouse over the Scenario block, click on Edit, select the Scenario End and make sure that the Go to settings is set to End Scenario.
Here is a sample screenshot:

I have it set to go to End Scenario and its still not working. I also have the slide set to text.
Hi Nicole! I see the screenshot you sent was in Edit mode. What happens when you preview the lesson? Does the continue button become enabled when you reach the end of the scenario?

Between this demo and another, I finally figured out how to tell my learners to exit the scenario. There should be a better way!

Hi Norma, I'm glad to hear you were able to resolve your issue with exiting your scenario block. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We'd love to hear your ideas on how we can make Rise better. Let us know here and I'll document your request for our team!

Hello. I have the same issue as the one above. Basically, in the same course, I have
- 1 scenario that ends with a "text" block and that does NOT display a continue button (which I want)
-1 scenario that ends with a "text" block and that does display a continue button (which I don't want)
See attached
Can you help me understand why? Thank you
Hi Evan!
I understand you are seeing different behaviors when ending your Scenario blocks, where one displays a Continue button, while the other doesn't.
We'll need to look into this closely, so I've opened a Support Case on your behalf. Our Support team will reach out to you shortly!

Hi,
Along the lines of the question above - I've used the Scenario block and some of my learners have answered incorrectly and now are not able to continue the module - how do they reset the scenario? Thanks so much! Kylee.
Hello Kylee,
Happy to help!
I'd like to ask a few questions to help clarify your experience:
- How are your learners accessing your course? Is it through an LMS? If the course is hosted on an LMS, try testing in SCORM Cloud to see if the issue is LMS-specific.
- Can you replicate the behavior when you publish your course to Review 360?
- After answering the scenario block incorrectly, do your learners see any error messages or signs of an issue, or does the course just stop responding?
- Did you set the "Go to" option for all blocks, as detailed in my colleague Chino's response?
Looking forward to your response!
