Hello - i've found some old discussions but wanting to check is it still not possible to insert a link to a document in a network drive? We have documents constantly being updated so need to link to the network drive location. Using a dropbox or SharePoint isn't an option at this stage.
Any other workarounds to link to network drive location?
In order to access a document on a network drive, the person accessing the document needs to be logged into the company network.
If you are using a LMS to host your Rise courses, it is likely that the LMS resides outside of your company network.
So when the Rise course tries to access a document on a network drive from outside the company network, the network will typically not allow access to that document.
