Please help! I have created a Rise file using the trial version. When I choose Publish | Web, it appears to complete the command successfully; however, the only files that download are an assets folder, a lib folder, a goodbye html file and an index html file. What am I doing wrong?
You're not doing anything wrong—and neither is the program. Those are the files you need. Just double-click the index.html file. That'll launch the course. (A story.html course is only used for a storyline course.)
To let others view the course, you'll need to upload those files to a web server, and then share the full URL for the index.html file.
You could also publish the course to Review 360, and share that link. However, it'll only be accessible during your trial period. (If you buy a license within 6 months, the content will be accessible again. After that, the company will delete it.)
