More question types
Are more question types going to be included? It seems that only a multiple-choice (single answer) option is available. Would be good to see multiple-choice (multiple answers) and sorting questions etc.
Yup, we're gonna add more question types to Quiz. Thanks for your interest, Stuart.

Hi Adam, We're considering using Rise but are hamstrung by the limited quiz question types. Do you have an ETA on multi-select and True/False types? Thanks a lot...

Hi Adam, any update on the questions or quiz type? I'm highly impressed with Rise and have created 2 quick lessons to play with the features. I think the biggest shortcoming is the lack of assessment variety. Can't wait to have more types of assessment.
Example of my lessons:

Hi Adam, any idea what your timing is on having multiple correct answers in the knowledge check? Just deciding on whether I can use this tool and need that feature fairly soon. Thanks!

Hi,
Like Cirri, i'd love to be able to have feedback by answer choice, and of course i'd also love to get the multiple-choice (multiple answers) fonction.
Hi Lisa and Julie! New question types are still in development - I know it has been awhile since they were promised. We've got some good stuff in the works, and we'll let you know as soon as we start releasing them.
As a workaround, Dorrien offers some great examples of using the multiple choice question format to create other question types. I hope that helps in the interim!

I would also like multiple select, matching, and hotspot as priorities. Also, as someone who tests students on recognizing symbols and their meanings, it would be nice to have the ability to select pictures and use media as part of the questions.

Randomizing questions and answers would also be a priority for me.
Thanks Anthony! You can already add an image to a question. (But not to answers.)
Question randomization and answer shuffling already exists too. Check out the Settings tab when authoring a quiz.

It doesn't exist when you use Knowledge Checks in blocks. Or am I missing something? Doesn't that only exist if you do NOT use blocks?

I'd like to see text-entry question types as well.
Hello Nils and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
I know many of you are excited for this feature. Looks like it is targeted for this quarter.

I'm afraid I have to agree. Every time someone asks how the development of new features is going or what the developers are working on, the reply is to look at the What's New page. This page is referred to as a roadmap, but it only shows us what's been developed and not what's to come.
It's not like we are expecting miracles, but a little more transparancy would be great. Just knowing what you guys are working on (like which specific question types) and which feature requests are taken into account. An overview like that would save you guys a lot of time answering questions too I think :)

Going through this thread and seeing this asked 9 months ago, promised dates that came and went, and STILL waiting.... :(
Having only multiple choice as a question type completely cripples this product as a quick course development tool, IMO.

Good to have these for the quizzes but what is the reason for them not being available to use in a knowledge check? From the post you linked to above: [The new question types] "are available for quiz lessons but not knowledge check blocks".
I almost never use the pre-built lessons as they are so restrictive. The more I can do within blocks the better.
