Setting for Quiz questions in Rise
I know that I can set how many times the learner can retake the quiz but How or Can I set how many attempts they have for a question in the quiz?
Hi LaVon,
Each question can be attempted once during each quiz attempt, so if you're looking to have a learner reattempt the quiz I'd look at adjusting your quiz settings to allow for multiple quiz attempts and shuffle the answers/questions for learners. I'd also turn off showing the correct answer/feedback:
I'll let the team know you're also interested in a reattempt of a question before reaching the end of the quiz - so we'll keep you posted here if that makes our roadmap!

Greetings - do you know if the reattempt of a single question before moving onto the next question is a feature yet? I have a bank of 15 questions and it would prove useful to our workflow for the learner to have that functionality in the assessment. Thank you!
Hi, Andrew. Currently, you move on to the next quiz question whether you get the current answer correct or not. We're still tracking this feature request, and we'll update this discussion if we make a change.

Thank you. I posted a question asking if there is a step by step for inserting a Storyline 360 drag and drop activity into Rise. I need to know how to set up the storyline file and how to export or save or publish the file to use in Rise. Do I insert a submit button in the SL file? If there is a complete tutorial please direct me. I have never done this before.
Hi LaVon!
I can lend a hand here! First, create the drag-and-drop slide in Storyline. You'll want to use the Submit button in the Storyline player. Then, follow these steps to embed the Storyline slide in a Rise Storyline Block.
Something to keep in mind: Storyline Block question data won't be sent to the LMS, so the question will be more of an ungraded knowledge check.
Give it a try, and let us know if you need help along the way!

Hello
Does this mean is we create a quiz in Storyline with a question bank and export it in a Storyline Block into Rise, Rise won't track the quiz results pass or fail in our LMS?

Hi Mikki,
Storyline blocks are now able to send quiz scores, but not question-specific information (like the answer to a short-answer question). Here's how to make sure your score is getting sent.
Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi Allison
Thanks for the reply.
i just need to know if I can use a question bank for a quiz in a Storyline block and then export it to Rise and the quiz results will show in my LMS?
Hi Mikki,
Yes, if you follow the instructions I provided above you'll be able to see the score but you won't be able to see which answer each learner chose.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Okay - thanks for the info. I create lots of CBTs to mariners - these folks' time is precious, so having this functionality would make Rise even that more awesome. Thanks and keep up the great support!

What about retry only incorrect? When can we expect that one?
Hi there, Joan. I don't have an ETA on that feature, either. We'll keep you posted!

Hello! I haven't used Rise much - so when I gave a co-worker feedback on one of their courses that they should add multiple attempts to freeform answer questions and she said she didn't see that as an option I was shocked and super disappointed to see forums stating it's not an option... I advised we need to limit/cut this option for knowledge checks then...
Can you please update me when this feature becomes available too?
Please and thank you!

The workaround I use is to limit the quiz questions number to 5, this way when users need to retake the quiz because of one wrong answer, it is not too frustrating.
