I believe your numeric spacers are aligning with the labeled graphic. If so, you could play with the notion to modify the marker icons as the number. Instead of '+', it would show 1-7. Then the item in that graphic, aligns with the same numeric spacer/divider. However, the current formatting made me curious to go back and look at the top. So honestly, as is may be more effective.
