  • This is brilliant! Love the design.

Did you use a different image size for the Cover Photo?

Thanks so much for sharing :)

@Teresa: Awesome idea for a course in Rise. Thank you for sharing this!
However, I still quite understand what you mean with: "Make sure you save your images with the ending _NOPROCESS_, "
Can you explain this a little more?

Hi! So funny, I live in Zürich. If you're using PNG make sure you save them and upload them with the ending _NOPROCESS_ , i.e. imagename_NOPROCESS_.png

I'll DM you. I'm always happy to connect with people in Switzerland.
  • hey Teresa, i am loving your ideas and want to have a play to produce some interesting learning for our students.
Would it be possible to have a copy of the Rise course please
    regards

Hey there - is it possible to give learners different options in this example that can lead to a different outcome? Thinking about branching and storytelling.

  • Hi SamtheID!

    Happy to help with this!

In Rise 360, Branching Scenario Blocks allow authors to incorporate a storytelling design, quickly into their course. However, the learner will remain confined to that specific Block's interaction.

If you're looking for a way to design different routes a learner can take through an overall course, Button Blocks can help with that. My teammate Ginger shared a walkthrough in Quick Tips & Tricks: Episode 87. Her presentation begins at the 44m35s time-mark.

Have a great rest of your day!

  • Hi NadineBrittonOb!

    Happy to jump in here!

I can't speak for TeresaMoreno, but courses built in Rise 360 do support Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA. While Rise does a lot of the accessibility work for you, there are some decisions that authors must make. Please see the following articles to learn more about authoring accessible courses:

Also, I did test Teresa's course with the NVDA screen reader and did not observe any issues with keyboard navigation, or dictation.

    Hope this helps!

  • Thank you so much for responding to my post.
I have made something similar in Powerpoint and saved as a picture and I assume that isnt accessible. Do you know if I did it in illustrator would it be accessible? Or was there extra accessibility checks that the original author may have done? (Specifically screen reading the words in the images)
