- I like Rise and this a good use case for onboarding a new employee - but how does this facilitate learning differently then something like a website or even a company's intranet site?
I feel like there needs to be a different/additional levels of interactivity other than presenting information.- Hi Kelsey! That is a good point and I think that's great feedback and it would be nice to maybe incorporate videos and quizzes into a module like this as well to perhaps make it more engaging.
I would say what makes this different than just posting it on a website or intranet site is that Rise provides the ability to publish to SCORM or xAPI which allows the organization to have insights into who took the learning, how long it took, etc. This is sometimes needed for compliance/audit purposes. :)

Appreciate your feedback very much! - Kelsey you read my mind - this is my biggest struggle with all of the demos that are posted on here - most of them just seem like a flashy way to give someone a document or have them read information. My biggest fear is to make onboarding not seem like death by glorified powerpoint. While I love the look and simplicity of items like these when you have elearning start to take over more of your internal training it can be repetitive and overwhelming for your employees.
