Suggestions for future updates to AI 'text to voice' feature.
Hi team,
Really like the new update for generated text to speech AI Assistant in Rise 360: AI-Generated Text-to-Speech | Articulate - Community.
Couple of suggestions that I hope will be considered for next update to this feature:
1 - Include a toggle on/off setting for the generated audio to automatically play once the block is reached or the interaction is engaged with (for e.g. turning the flashcard triggers the audio for 'back of card' to play - rather than having to press the 'play' button).
2 - Would love a a couple of Australian voices in the suite - failing that, a couple of 'neutral' accents would be great.
Cheers and thanks - keep up the great work!

I wonder if the voices settings can stay where they were last set. For instance, every time a new phrase is generated I must reselect maximum stability and similarity for my preference.
Hi Andrew_Crawford! Thanks so much for sharing this with us! We get that having to reset your voice settings every time slows things down.
You’d love those settings to stick so you can keep creating without extra clicks. We’ve passed this along to our product team!

I think Articulate should spend its money on not putting voice actors out of work. Let's do the right thing, folks.

Hello. I have a suggestion for a helpful update to Rise/Storyline voices. For consistency in a course, having the same voices available in both Rise and Storyline would allow the whole project to have the same narrator.
For example, our team has found the "Hope" voice particularly useful, but it only appears in Rise. If possible, please update both sets to match.

If a course uses multiple AI voices in different slides it would be good to be able to globally change them all to a different voice, rather than go into each one by one.

I agree with the OP about those two suggestions.

This would be a fantastic addition and would really streamline the user experience during development.
1. toggle to auto-play - would save time and make the flow more intuitive.
2. Australian voices - or at least some neutral accent options would broaden the appeal and usability of the tool for a wider audience. It's a small addition that would make a big difference in terms of inclusivity.
I fully support this feature request! - BenWildey-dc704Community Member
Hi team,
I’m also really pleased to see the AI-Generated Text-to-Speech feature now available in Rise 360—such a great enhancement for accessibility and learner engagement.
I’d like to echo the suggestions shared above, particularly around auto-play functionality within interactions like flashcards, as well as the addition of Australian or more neutral accents.
I’d also like to highlight that the original announcement of the AI Assistant mentioned potential text-to-video capabilities. I’m very interested in hearing if this is still on the roadmap, as it would be a valuable complement to the text and voice generation features already available.
Thanks again for your continued innovation—excited to see what’s next!
Best regards,
BenHi AinsleyMcKen652 and BenWildey-dc704,
