Transcript option, with completion trigger by opening transcript or watching video
We always need to offer transcript options, along with closed captions, on any video or audio we include on a module.
Currently, I have to add a separate link/text option for a transcript when adding a video, which means if I want the continue box to only activate upon completion, I have to put the transcript above the video and advise they still have to play the video, even if they are reading the transcript instead.
I would like to suggest that a transcript option is available when adding video and audio, where the block completes when a user either finishes the video/audio OR opens the transcript.
On real content templates, it would also be great to have the transcript automatically included in the same way.

Hi ChrisWant419! Thanks for sharing this thoughtful idea with us! We hear that it takes extra work to add transcripts separately in Rise, and it can complicate how learners complete a block.
You’d like a built-in transcript option for video and audio blocks, where completion happens when someone either finishes the media or opens the transcript. You’d also love to see this built into real content templates. We’ve shared your request with our product team so they know what would make accessibility and authoring easier.
